about

One person, start to finish.

I'm Michal Sabo — a software engineer and IT consultant based in the Princeton, NJ area. I build and fix the technology small businesses actually run on, from the code down to the cables.

The professional story

For the past 5+ years I've built software that people rely on every single day — healthcare systems, point-of-sale and inventory platforms, and mobile apps for real businesses, not case studies. Along the way I've worked across the whole stack: cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP, the networks that connect it all, and the actual machines on desks and in back rooms.

That range is the whole point of working with me. Most problems a small business runs into don't fit neatly into "software" or "hardware" or "network" — they cut across all three. I handle the whole picture, so you're not coordinating between three different vendors who each blame the other two.

Local, and in person

I'm based in the Princeton, New Jersey area and work face-to-face with people across central Jersey — Princeton, Hopewell, Lawrenceville, Flemington and the towns around them. I also take on-site work further out, into Philadelphia, New York City, and Bucks County.

A lot of what I do is easier to figure out on site — walking the building, seeing the setup, hearing how the day actually goes. Being close to Princeton means I can usually be there quickly rather than scheduling a week out. For everything else, I work remotely with clients anywhere.

How I work

Plain answers, in plain English. When you tell me what's going on, I'll tell you honestly what it'll take — including when the fix is a five-minute change, and including when the honest answer is "you don't need to buy anything new." No upselling, no jargon walls, and no handing you off to someone else halfway through. The person you call is the person who shows up and the person who does the work.
